Desperate family issue plea for help in finding missing man Francis Williamson

The family of missing man Francis Williamson have issued a heartfelt plea for the public to help in the search for him.

The Glasgow-born 37-year-old was reported missing from Chorley in Lancashire on Wednesday of this week (November 13).

And his family believe that he could have travelled to Glasgow, where he still has friends and family.

Speaking to Glasgow Live, his brother Darren said: "My brother has been missing from Chorley since Wednesday but he has family and friends in Glasgow that could know something.

"Any help would be very much appreciated. His family, wife and kids are very worried."

Francis is described as being approximately 5"10 in height.

UPDATE: Francis has been found safe and well, and his family thanked Glasgow Live readers for their help.
