A Dublin woman has issued a desperate appeal for help to find her lost engagement ring.
Samantha Tierney hopes that the "great powers of social media" will help reunite her with her ring.
Samantha describes the ring as a solitaire on a platinum band and reckons she may have lost it on either Burrow Beach in Sutton or in Clontarf.
She added that she might have misplaced it between 1 pm and 9 pm on Monday.
She said in a Facebook post: "I’m reaching out in the hope that the great powers of social media may help me find my engagement ring.
"It is a solitaire on a platinum band. Lost either on Burrow Beach in Sutton or in Clontarf between 1.00 pm and 9.00 pm on Monday September 21, 2020. If Found please contact me. Tks. Sam."
