Desperate dog owners offer £1000 reward to help find pooch who ran off from Strathclyde Park attack

The distraught owners of an adorable dog missing in Strathclyde Park have offered a £1000 award.

Nala, a timid Shar Pei dog , ran off on March 17 injured after being attacked by another dog - with the owners becoming increasingly worried about her whereabouts.

It's thought that she has a bite wound and a bleeding paw as a result of the attack.

Having originally offered a £500 reward for Nala's safe return, the family have now increased the offer to £1000 in a bid to drive more attention to the cause.

So far there has been a large social media appeal to help trace Nala, including the launch of a 'Help Find Nala' Facebook group.

The local community have begun to rally round to raise awareness of the tragic dog's disappearance in the hope she can be traced safe and well, however there has not yet been a successful sighting.

Owners Debbie and John Lang have been repeatedly sent an image of a dog in front of a red car which they insist is not her dog Nala.

The dog in the photo, uploaded by Danielle Lee Churchill, was found in Wales and is now in a rescue centre.

Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with the owners. Their contact details can be found in the Help find Nala Facebook group .
