Scots schoolgirls who vanished two days ago traced 'safe and well'

Police have traced two missing schoolgirls following an urgent search.

Chelsea Marshall and Kaitlin Dundas, both 13, are from the Motherwell and Wishaw areas of North Lanarkshire.

Chelsea had been last at roughly 12pm on Saturday, April 15, with Kaitlin had been seen on the same day at 1pm.

Officers have now confirmed that both of the girls have been traced 'safe and well.'

Chelsea is described as 5ft tall and of slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black body warmer, black jogging bottoms and black & white trainers.

Kaitlin is described as 5ft tall and of petite build with long brown hair, brown eyes and fair skin. She was last seen dressed in black leggings, a purple hoody, black body warmer and black Converse trainers.
