Desmond Ridder shows off versatility as Cincinnati dominates SMU

If your favorite NFL team is looking for a quarterback prospect who can find the end zone in just about every way possible, Cincinnati’s Desmond Ridder just made quite the bid for that title.

Ridder threw for 274 yards and a trio of scores in Saturday’s 48-14 win over SMU, rushed for 46 yards and another touchdown, and even added a five-yard touchdown reception for good measure.

In a wide-open quarterback class, anyone could take over the top spot with a strong finish to the 2021 college football season. This is the kind of performance that will keep Ridder’s arrow pointing in the right direction.
