Designer claims that Lonzo Ball stayed with Big Baller Brand and has a new shoe coming

The scandal around Big Baller Brand and the alleged embezzlement by co-founder Alan Foster had put the future of LaVar Ball’s company in serious jeopardy. The brand already had a failing grade from the Better Business Bureau, and Lonzo Ball appeared to distance himself from the company by covering BBB tattoos and teasing a move to Nike.

But according to Brandblack founder and Big Baller Brand shoe designer David Raysse, Big Baller Brand has managed to keep all three of the Ball brothers onboard.

Raysse posted to Instagram some teaser photos of an upcoming LaMelo Ball sneaker and added that signature sneakers for both Lonzo and LiAngelo would be dropping at the end of the month. This wouldn’t be happening if the Ball brothers left the brand.

He wrote:

The reports of BBB death are greatly exaggerated, Z02 & G3 Coming end of month, MB1.2…………

Despite publicly stepping away from Big Baller Brand after the March ESPN story, Lonzo hadn’t made any formal announcement about a shoe deal with a major brand. A recent episode of Ball in the Family showed LaVar trying to convince Lonzo to remain with the company, but that filming took place nearly three months ago.

Still, if Big Baller Brand is indeed making a comeback, it has plenty of work left to do to even function as a viable company. The website is still down, showing an “under construction” message at the home page.

In Big Baller Brand’s initial operation, the company struggled to fulfill orders, had yearlong waits for orders to ship (if they even shipped at all) and offered no refunds for the laughably overpriced merchandise.

That would obviously need to change this time around, but it’s probably too late at this point.
