Deshaun Watson brings ray of sunshine to terminally ill Texans fan in London

Before Deshaun Watson created umpteen highlights in the first half of Sunday’s tilt with the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, the Houston Texans quarterback paid it forward.

As caught by James Palmer of NFL Network, Watson visited with a terminally ill 10-year-old Texans fan named Jacob.

Jacob’s dream day was to meet the Texans’ superstar quarterback. Rays of Sunshine — similar to Make a Wish in the United States — made that dream possible, as Watson got to make the young man’s day.

Jacob got to watch his favorite quarterback with his signature on his battle-red jersey at Wembley Stadium.

Perhaps Jacob is Watson’s good-luck charm. By the end of the first half, the quarterback had gone 15 of 20 for 120 passing yards and a touchdown. In doing so, he became trending on Twitter — as he seemingly does every Sunday — for his miraculous plays. Maybe he should be trending for his ability to make a child smile too.
