Despite taking an early lead through Harry Kane, Tottenham suffered defeat at Anfield on Sunday, with Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah completing a second-half comeback for the Reds in a 2-1 win.
Kane's first minute header gave Spurs the best start they could have hoped for, but it also left them needing to hold on to their lead for 89 minutes, a very long time against such an intense team as Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp's side did eventually get their win, but if it hadn't been for the heroics of Spurs goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga, the scoreline would have been a lot more damaging for Pochettino's men.
The Argentine, standing in for the injured Spurs captain Hugo Lloris, made a total of 12 saves during the 90 minutes, an extremely high number, but there were also some saves of very high quality.
The Fantasy Premier League rewarded Gazzaniga by giving him the maximum bonus points for his performance against Liverpool, with Harry Kane also getting one for his goal and performance.
Henderson, who scored the equalising goal, also got a mention in the bonus points tweet, with players like Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold missing out completely, which shows just how good Gazzaniga was on the day.
