DeSean Jackson looking to make more big plays than Julio Jones on Sunday

DeSean Jackson may go down in history as the best deep threat to ever play the game, yet his counterpart at wide receiver on Sunday will be the main attraction in Atlanta. Julio Jones is the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL and regarded as one of the top-3 at his position in the game.

DeSean Jackson revels in the pressure of the bright lights, so while preparing to depart for Atlanta to face the Falcons, the Eagles star wideout admitted that he needs to make more big plays Julio Jones on Sunday night.

Obviously, Julio is one of the best in the league, we all know that” Jackson said. “He’s done some miraculous things. The numbers speak for themselves. Any time you play against another team that has a big-time receiver (you ask), ‘Can I get more big plays than he can? Or can Alshon or Nelly, someone on our side.’

Jackson outplayed Jones in both players season opener, finishing with 8 catches for 154 yards and two scores in the Eagles’ win over the Redskins.

Jones had 6 catches for 31-yards in the Falcons’ week-1 loss to the Vikings on the road.
