DeSean Jackson is playing Madden to help build chemistry with Carson Wentz

DeSean Jackson is coming back home, as the LA native is returning to the franchise that originally drafted him out of Cal. The Eagles traded a late-round pick to acquire Jackson from the Buccaneers in a trade that has reinvigorated the 32-year-old wide receiver. Jackson can’t contain his excitement and is so amped to be catching deep balls from Carson Wentz, that he’s already playing Madden with Wentz as his quarterback.

Jackson was traded to the Eagles for a 2019 sixth-round pick and will give Wentz a deep weapon that he hasn’t had during his first four seasons in the NFL.

In his first unofficially game as an Eagles receiver, while wearing the No. 84 we must point out, Jackson racked up 12 catches from Wentz for 177 yards and three touchdowns in his EA Sports debut.

While Wentz was 26 of 40, for 404 yards and five touchdowns.
