DeSean Jackson expecting to re-join Eagles if they advance to divisional round of playoffs

The Philadelphia Eagles are limping into the final week of the regular season and if they can hold on to beat the Giants and advance WildCard weekend, a huge gift could be on its way.

Tim McManus of ESPN.com is reporting what many already know, DeSean Jackson is healthy and on target for a return to the lineup if the Eagles are able to advance to the NFC divisional rounds of the playoffs.

DeSean Jackson is expecting to re-join the team on the field should the Eagles advance to the divisional round of the playoffs, a source said. He is feeling good and clocking 19 mph in rehab. Not eligible to return from IR until Round 2 of postseason.

Even after winning a head-to-head matchup with Dallas on Sunday and taking a one-game lead in the NFC East standings, the Eagles still need to defeat the Giants in Week 17 or have the Cowboys lose to the Redskins before securing a playoff spot.

If the Eagles can punch then win a home matchup in the wild-card round, their depleted receiving corps could get the best deep ball tracker in the NFL back and he’s just as fast as he was before the injury.
