DeSean Jackson, Bengals Johns Ross could finally settle their own debate about NFL’s fastest man

DeSean Jackson won’t be participating in Saturday night’s pay-per-view event featuring current and former NFL players running forty yards races for charity, but he’ll still have the chance to prove just how fast he still is.
According to Heavy.com, the Eagles receiver will be participating in Bengals receiver John Ross‘ annual flag football game for charity.

After some early back and forth between the two about who’s the fastest, Sunday could provide the perfect opportunity.

Jackson has been a mentor to Ross over the years, and the trash talk has increased over time, especially after the Bengals receiver ran the fastest 40-yard dash in Scouting Combine history, clocking in at 4.22 seconds. Jackson for his part started the back and forth when he challenged Ross to a race on Instagram.

On Sunday the two men will be opposing coaches and could settle their speed differences after the event.

It’s uncertain with training camp less than a month away if either man will risk a hamstring injury or even worse, the ego burn that both men could suffer if they end up getting smoked in a race.
