Des O'Connor stays indoors as daughter visits his home during coronavirus lockdown

TV icon Des O’Connor is staying indoors as his daughter visits him by window.

The television comedian has followed advice by staying indoors – as daughter Kristina, 32, was seen wearing a tribute T-shirt to her dad outside his home.

TV legend, Des, 88, who has four daughters and a son from his four marriages, returned her proud thumbs-up as he peered through the window.

Des's former Today With Des and Mel co-star Melanie Sykes posted the photos online, saying: "Thought I’d share these brilliant pics of Des O’Connor and his daughter Kristina taken today. Lovely, wonderful Des."

Fan Harvey King pleaded: “Please keep this man safe and sound! Des is an absolute UK legend and one of the last of his kind still around.”

Kristina is Des' daughter by his third wife, Jay Rufer.

He also has a daughter Karen O'Connor by his first wife Phyllis Gill, daughters Tracy and Samantha by his second wife Gillian Vaughan, and a son, Adam, by his current wife Jodie Brooke Wilson.

Des is well known for his series The Des O'Connor Show, Des O'Connor Tonight, Take Your Pick, and Countdown.

The pictures come as today the UK's coronavirus death toll has risen by a further 626 to 31,241, the government has confirmed.

The heartbreaking figure was announced at today's Downing Street press briefing by Environment Secretary George Eustice.

It is an increase of 87 from yesterday's 539.

"I gave up alcohol completely 3 years ago today whoop whoop and today also marks the 2 year anniversary of my life changing holiday to India with @adamskionline (how amazing was that trip babes?).

"Anyway blah di blah I’m doing a little dance and you can’t stop me! have a good and positive day y’all. ps and for those asking, no I don’t miss it because it’s toxic bulls**t!"
