Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan has been the subject of a mural outside an iconic LGBTQ+ bar in Dublin this week.
The piece on a wall outside The George Bar depicts the famous Derry Girls scene when Clare (Nicola's character) comes out to Erin as "the wee lesbian."
The mural, which was designed to mark Pride month, is beside another artwork depicting LGBTQ+ icon Oscar Wilde by artist Chelsea R Jacobs.
Nicola's mural was created by well-known Irish street artist Emmalene Blake, who shared an image of it to her Instagram profile.
In the caption, she said: "“Happy Pride to all the wee lesbians and other LGBTQ+ folk! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

"Painted a quick Clare (@nicolacoughlan) from Derry Girls, the best show ever, on the side of @thegeorgedublin. Really hoping season 3 is out soon coz we could all do with more Derry Girls in our lives right now."
And Nicola was chuffed with the mural, sharing her appreciation in a comment beneath the post. "I love it so much, what an honour," she wrote. As well as this, the Galway-born actress shared a photo of the artwork with her 280,000 Twitter followers, writing "How cool is this?!"
Nicola was recently nominated for the Rising Star Award at the upcoming Irish Film & Television Academy Awards (IFTAs) and has been pictured enjoying a VIP day out at Wimbledon.
The actress is currently in London filming the second series of the smash hit show Bridgerton in which she plays Penelope Featherington, a reluctant debutante and youngest daughter of a nouveau-riche family in Regency-era London.
