Derry City announce signing of former Cork City defender Colm Horgan

Cork City defender Colm Horgan is Derry City's latest signing ahead of the start of the 2020 season.

Horgan, a younger brother of Hibs winger Darryl, had been training with the club and made an appearance for the Candystripes in the second half of last Friday's night friendly with Drogheda.

The 25-year-old Galwegian, who played 20 times for Cork last term, has over 100 league appearances under his belt having also played for Salthill and Galway, and will add experience to Declan Devine's squad for the Premier Division campaign.
