Derrick Rose uncertain of his availability

Nov. 24--SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- The Bulls limped into town with continued uncertainty about the availability of injured veterans Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol and Kirk Hinrich for Monday night's game against the Jazz.

"We will see how they are after the shoot-around," Coach Tom Thibodeau said Monday morning at Energy Solutions Arena. "They were all pretty good (Sunday) in practice. But we will see today."

Rose was ready to test his mobility and stamina in practice.

"Right now it's just playing through the fatigue," Rose said. "Hamstring injuries, when you hurt 'em, you've got to wait for them to heal. You've got to really test it while you're out there. And fatigue has something to do with it. I'm just trying to see if I can play through the fatigue."

Thibodeau also may be without Hinrich (chest contusion), but Gasol (left calf) appears improved. Forward Taj Gibson was sent home to Chicago after suffering a left ankle sprain Friday night in Portland.

"We have pros," Thibodeau said. "They have been through it a number of times. Clearly, we know what's in front of us. We know what we have to do to win. It's hard to win on the road. You have to put the necessary work into it. We have to know Utah well. And we've got to be ready to go right from the start."
