BRIEF: Wednesday's recap: Bulls 103, Suns 97

Nov. 19--The summary: Jimmy Butler scored 14 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter and Pau Gasol added 17 points as the Bulls outlasted the Suns 103-97. Kirk Hinrich added 14 points and six assists as the Bulls played without Derrick Rose and lost Aaron Brooks to a hamstring injury.

Turning point: After the Suns had seized just their second lead since the 10:04 mark of the first quarter, the Bulls responded with a 7-0 run on a Pau Gasol dunk, a Kirk Hinrich 3-pointer and a Butler drive.

Tribune player of game: Butler. He carried the Bulls down the stretch and added six rebounds.

Key number: 9. The Bulls again were hot from beyond the arc, sinking nine of 19 3-pointers.

The quote: "I still gotta take the shot and knock it down. I'll get back to it, I promise you." -- Butler before the game

Injury update: Rose sat with a sprained left ankle. Mike Dunleavy remained out following back surgery. And T.J. Warren sat with an illness for the Suns.
