DeRozan's clutch shooting proves too much as Raptors beat Bucks, 105-99

MILWAUKEE _ DeMar DeRozan was Toronto's man in the clutch as the Raptors continued their recent dominance over the Milwaukee Bucks.

DeRozan hit a clutch 16-footer with 16 seconds left to give the Raptors a four-point lead and they edged the Bucks, 105-99, on Friday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Toronto (10-6) won for the sixth straight time in Milwaukee and for the 11th time in their last 12 meetings with the Bucks (6-8).

DeRozan finished with 26 points and Kyle Lowry added 19 for Toronto.

Giannis Antetokounmpo paced Milwaukee with 29 points and 11 assists. Tony Snell added 16 points, Jabari Parker 14 and Matthew Dellavedova 11.

The Bucks trailed by 10 points in the third quarter but a spinning dunk by Antetokounmpo and a 3-pointer by Malcolm Brogdon cut the deficit to 71-67 late in the quarter.

A drive by Cory Joseph gave Toronto a six-point lead entering the final quarter.

The Bucks were within two after a dunk by Parker, but Terrence Ross hit a corner 3 and made a steal and dunk to push Toronto's lead to 78-71 with 9:05 remaining.

Dellavedova heated up in the fourth quarter, hitting a pair of crucial threes to keep the Bucks close.

A driving layup by Antetokounmpo cut Milwaukee's deficit to 94-91 with 3:04 left.

The Bucks got within on a bank shot by Antetokounmpo and had a chance to take the lead but Parker missed a baseline jumper. DeRozan made a jumper and Antetokounmpo converted a dunk, but Lowry hit a long three to give Toronto a 99-95 lead with 1:06 remaining.
