TV presenter Dermot O’Leary has spoken of his devastation after having his wedding ring stolen.
The star took to Twitter to reveal the news last night (August 21) and asked anyone with any information to contact police.
The ring and another items belonging to the presenter were stolen as Dermot worked out in a gym in Marylebone, London.
Officers revealed the ring was engraved with the wedding date September 14th 2012 and 'Team KO', a reference to Dermot and his wife, Dee Koppang.
The force posted a picture from CCTV footage of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the offence on social media as they appealed for information on his identity.
Dermot shared the police force's post about the crime and their picture of a man they wish to speak , saying: "Sadly this was my wedding ring & bag that was stolen."
Adding that he was sure he wouldn't get the items back, he said: "Please have a good look at the picture & if you recognise him call 101 ref 6195/21aug Dx @MPSWestminster @metpoliceuk."

The police tweeted: "Do you recognise this man?
"We wish to speak to him re theft of a bag from a gym in Mortimer Street W1 on 13 Aug.
"Items stolen include a wedding ring etched on inner side with '14/9/12 Team KO'.
"Pls call police on 101 ref 6195/21aug with any info about the man or the stolen ring."
Dermot has been married to producer and director Dee since 2012, with the pair welcoming their first child earlier this year.
The 47-year-old also shared an appeal on his Instagram account, saying: "PLEASE SHARE... I know there are more important things happening in the world right now, but last week my bag (with my wedding ring in it) was stolen from a locked locker at 'Psycle' on Mortimer St. London.

"I'm not after any special preferential treatment.
"I'm not the victim of a violent crime, and even though no-one should have to - I can handle all the impersonal items being stolen (the wallet, phone, watch, keys etc.) but this man stole my wedding ring & gold crucifix.
"Something that would mean nothing to him - but everything to me.
"I've made peace with the knowledge that I'll probably never see these cherished items again, but I'd really like it if you, your loved ones, or anyone else you know, didn't have to go through the same ordeal of having your personal items stolen by this man."
He then appealed for anyone with more information about the man police wish to speak to contact the police.
Dermot continued: "Please share, retweet and get his face everywhere...Thank you. Dermot. x."
