Radio and TV star Dermot O'Leary has opened up about being a father to baby boy Kasper for the first time.
Dermot welcomed his son with wife Dee Koppang, 41, last month.
The Radio 2 presenter, 47, spoke about being a father to baby Kasper whilst he interviewed singer-songwriter James Bay on his show.
As James congratulated him on fatherhood, Dermot opened up about what it has been like.
Dermot said of Kasper: "Oh he is brilliant, we are having a great time.
"That sort of lovely foggy period of sleepless love. Just wake up and go 'hey, this guy'."
"Every now and again you hear noises and think 'what is that noise?' and then you're like 'oh that is my son'.
"'Is that a cat? No, that's our child.'"
The discussion follows Dermot taking to the radio waves last Saturday to dedicate a song by band Elbow to his boy and reveal his name for the first time.
Dermot revealed: "My lovely son came into the world ten days ago accompanied by Guy Garvey's Elbow.
"So forgive this moment of brief self-indulgence while we play the song that accompanied that.
"This is for you Kasper with a K - my wife is very insistent on that.
He concluded: "Kasper Koppang O'Leary welcome to the world!"
The radio presenter shared news of Kasper's birth on his Instagram on June 27, with an image of a soft toy and a baby onesie emblazoned with 'Koppang O'Leary Productions 2020' .
Dermot captioned the image: "Welcome to the world baby Koppang O’Leary... We’re delighted to announce that we’ve had a baby!
"A little boy born on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 (Sankthansaften / Midsummer for you Norwegians) at 8.19am, weighing in at 6lb 13oz.
"Enjoying the cuddles in the newborn bubble... cats yet to be 100% convinced. Lots of love, Dermot & Dee x️ @deekoppangoleary "
Congratulations to the happy couple and their new bundle of joy!
