Dermot O'Leary goes 'blank' as This Morning guest claims ghost is her boyfriend

This Morning host Dermot O'Leary was left speechless on Tuesday when one guest claimed she has a boyfriend who is a ghost named Eduardo.

The woman named Brocarde joined Dermot and his co-host Alison Hammond in the ITV studio to discuss her unusual relationship with the alleged "Victorian soldier".

When asked how it all started, Brocarde said: "I can totally understand how people are skeptical. It was a really strange day, a typical horror movie day.

"I was at home, I'd had one of those horrible days myself, I'd fallen out with one of my friends.

"I was tossing and turning in bed and I literally just felt this burning sensation in my heart out of nowhere.

She continued: "Not a pain, it was physical burning and a deep sensation in my chest. It was alarming at the beginning, it was really intense and I was struggling to breath.

"And then I was propelled forward, I was rigid. i was shaking and in tears and then literally nothing, I went cold.

"I reached over to my bed side table to try and turn the light on and this hand grabbed my arm and threw it back," Brocarde added.

Alison gasped and couldn't believe what she was hearing, but Dermot looked rather skeptical and a bit confused.

"I thought someone was in the house," the woman continued. "There was nothing coming out of my mouth but I had tears streaming down my face."

Dermot was keen to ask Brocarde when she first saw Eduardo, to which she replied: "I saw a figure just pass and then nothing."

She went on to explain that the ghost seems to be jealous and even appears when she is in the shower and draws love hearts for her.

As Dermot went to ask Brocarde if she was in a monogamous relationship with Eduardo, he couldn't quite find the words and said: "Sorry, I've gone blank."
