Dermot O'Leary forced to send This Morning to break as Prince Harry's anatomy leaves stars in giggles

Dermot O'Leary appeared keen to force an ad break during the latest episode of This Morning as Alison Hammond and Carol Vorderman collapsed into giggles. The presenter and his co-host Alison were reunited on the ITV daytime show on Friday (January 6) for their first show of the new year.

Their first segment in their first show back together since Christmas saw the hosts joined by former Countdown star Carol and her pal and This Morning regular. The pair were on hand to discuss the latest news headlines.

And once again, the chat was dominated by the latest details being released about Prince Harry's memoir and his subsequent promotional interviews. The Duke of Sussex has been hitting the headlines as tearers from his upcoming interviews on both ITV and CBS News in America are released.

It also comes as segments from his new book, titled Spare, are leaked. In the new trailer for Harry: The Interview ahead of its broadcast on Sunday night on ITV1 and ITVX, Harry is heard talking to Tom Bradby about an altercation with his brother - in which he alleges Prince William grabbed him by the collar, ripped his necklace before he fell to the floor on top of a dog bowl - which he also describes in his autobiography.

Harry has also opened up about his use of cocaine and losing his virginity to an older woman in a field behind a pub in his new bombshell memoir. He also claims to have killed 25 people while serving as an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan.

As Alison, Dermot, Carol and Gyles discussed the latest revelations, things got a tad out of hand when Gyles read out some of the memoir from the Spanish version of the Duke of Sussex's book. Carol, who couldn't keep a straight face, said: "Prince Harry said while he was at Eton..."

Gyles and Carol were on the ITV daytime show (ITV)

"He was 17," Carol corrected Gyles comment as he continued: "It's in the year he could have been one or the other. My Spanish dictionary, I was trying to find what frost-bitten penis is in Spanish."

As Gyles kept a straight face, Dermot and Alison put their head in their hands as they tried to contain their laughter. Carol started to laugh as Alison trademark giggle also got louder. But Gyles added: "Because he also tells us, was it the Arctic or the Antarctic?

"Anyway, his penis became frost-bitten and I've translated this from the Spanish [version], so if I have got it wrong and actually it's a sore thumb I do apologise." Carol tried to compose herself, as she asked Gyles to go back to when Harry was at Eton.

The Celebrity Gogglebox star then said: "An older woman took his virginity and then when the act of darkness has been completed, he lay on his front and she smacked his bottom and sent him on his way." And it wasn't long before Dermot was cutting to a scheduled as break as his co-stars struggled to stop their laughs.
