Dermot O’Leary announces he's to become a dad for the first time

Congratulations have been pouring in for popular TV and radio presenter Dermot O'Leary and his wife Dee Koppang O’Leary after they announced that they're expecting their first child.

Dermot and Dee posted their exciting news on their Instagrams.

"We’re pleased to announce that we’re expecting a little Koppang O’Leary..." they said.

The couple shared a sweet sign that read: "Koppang O'Leary productions presents 'new arrival' coming soon."

The 46-year-old X Factor host and his 41-year-old TV producer wife met 18 years ago.

They tied the knot in September 2012 at St Mary's Church in Chiddingstone, Kent.

Guests included Holly Willoughby, comedian Leigh Francis, aka Keith Lemon, presenter Fearne Cotton and Love Island host Caroline Flack.

This Morning and Dancing On Ice presenter Holly messaged: "This is just such wonderful news... love you both."

And fellow This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford said: "How wonderful! Congrats both."

The Voice host Emma Wiillis responded with a stream of applause emojis.

And Cold Feet actress Hermione Norris posted a love heart.

"Biggest mazels!!!!!!" cheered singer Jessie Ware.

Fellow Radio 2 presenter Jo Whiley said: "Oh Wow. This is WONDERFUL. So happy for you both. Huge love to you both xxx"

And former EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite, who played Mel Owen, wrote: "Congratulations to you both. Just the best ever news."
