Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond admitted there were things about each other they didn't like as they first started presenting This Morning together.
Alison and Dermot have been on the ITV show together for six months now and have gained a legion of fans during that time.
But when they first started out it viewers noticed a lack of chemistry between the pair and today they admitted on Lorraine that there had been teething problems for a couple of months.
Alison and Dermot told Lorraine they had open conversations off camera about what they did and didn't like about each others presenting style.
But Dermot actually grew to love one of Alison's habits that he originally "hated".
Alison said: "I think I’ve brought out Dermot, I’ll be honest with you.
“He was a bit dry before he met me, I’ve brought his personality out.”
Dermot said: “I’ve calmed her down. She was like off the wall. I was like, ‘Babe, you don’t need to start off the roof.’”
Alison pulled a cheeky face and said: “I’ll give you an example, this is really funny, you know sometimes when I do this to the camera, he absolutely hated it”.
Dermot admitted: “I hated it and now I absolutely love it."
Alison added: “He was like, ‘Why are you doing that?’ I was like, ‘It’s what I do babes you need to deal with it.’”
Dermot said: “I’d be like, ‘I’m actually talking to you,’ and Alison would be like this to the camera,” and did an impression of his co-presenter.
Alison said: “He absolutely hated it and now he’s like, ‘Go on, turn,’ and I’m like, ‘No, I don’t want to turn.’”
Alison and Dermot usually present together on a Friday, but next week they will be presenting the show for a whole week while Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield take a break for half term.
