Dermot Mulroney And Evan Jonigkeit Join Starz Drama Series

Mulroney plays Jed Banks, a charismatic ladies' man and oil magnate.

Dermot Mulroney and Evan Jonigkeit have been cast as series regulars in the upcoming drama series 'The Hunting Wives' at Starz. Mulroney will portray Jed Banks, the husband of Margo, played by Malin Åkerman, while Jonigkeit will play Graham O'Neill, the husband of Sophie, portrayed by Brittany Snow.

'The Hunting Wives,' based on the book by May Cobb, follows Sophie and her family as they move to deep east Texas, where Sophie becomes entangled in a web of obsession, seduction, and murder orchestrated by socialite Margo Banks.

Mulroney's character, Jed Banks, is depicted as a fifth-generation oil magnate and a charismatic ladies' man who enjoys involving others in his marital affairs. Despite considering a run for Texas Governor, Jed prioritizes his hedonistic lifestyle with Margo.

Jonigkeit's character, Graham O'Neill, is described as a supportive but naive husband who believes the move to Texas will benefit Sophie. However, he remains unaware of the consequences of Sophie's relationship with Margo.

Rebecca Cutter serves as the executive producer, writer, and showrunner of 'The Hunting Wives,' with May Cobb and Erwin Stoff of 3 Arts Entertainment also executive producing. The series, produced by Lionsgate Television and 3 Arts Entertainment, has been greenlit for eight episodes, with filming scheduled to begin in Charlotte, North Carolina this spring.
