Dermot Kennedy announces free gig in Dublin later this month

Irish star Dermot Kennedy has announced that he will play an intimate free gig later this month.

The singer-songwriter will be treating fans to a free live performance in Dublin as he returns to his home country.

Punters will have to act fast to get a chance to attend the event, as only a limited number of tickets will be available.

They will be released on Monday, November 18 and you can apply for tickets by heading here.

Kennedy's free show will take place on Wednesday, November 20 at the Aloft Hotel on 1 Mill St, The Liberties, in Dublin.

Fans hoping to attend have been urged to note the following:

  • Guests must be 18+
  • Maximum two tickets per person
  • Ticket is non-transferable
  • Entry is not guaranteed and subject to capacity so please arrive early
  • You’ll be automatically emailed by Universe with your digital ticket

Kennedy earlier announced that he will be playing two massive shows in Dublin and Cork next year.

The Outnumbered hitmaker will play  Malahide Castle in  Dublin  on Friday, June 26, and Irish Independent Park in Cork , on Saturday, June 27.

He is also set to play two sold out shows in the 3Arena in December.

The 27-year-old has had a whirlwind year with his debut album 'Without Fear' spending five successive weeks at Number 1 on the Irish Album Charts.
