Derek McInnes is optimistic that Cammy Devlin and Thelo Aasgaard will be fit for Rangers' first Scottish Premiership match against Dundee United, despite their injuries during the friendly against West Ham.
Devlin, an Australian international, left the match due to a calf issue, and Aasgaard, a playmaker from Norway, suffered a shoulder injury. However, McInnes believes they will be ready for the weekend.
The game against West Ham was Rangers' final pre-season fixture before the league opener on Friday at Tannadice. McInnes said: "A couple of wee knocks, Cammy Devlin with his calf and Thelo with his shoulder, but both will be fine for the weekend.
"So the fact that we’ve come through the game without any injuries is pleasing.”
With seven signings made this summer, McInnes is still eager to strengthen the team, particularly in the attacking department.
He said: "We deliberately went in two different shapes, the first half and the second half; it was always the intention.

"The second half was just to try and get a shape that would allow us to get the boys the minutes."
He acknowledged the team's progress compared to previous games but highlighted areas that needed improvement.
He said: "I thought we turned the ball over well, I thought we looked after the ball well and we got ourselves into some good areas, but we’re a lack of quality at times let us down.
"The final cross or the decision to take a shot or not wasn’t quite as clean as I would have hoped.
"And it’s these sort of things that we need to work on in the last week or so."
McInnes is keen to add players in "a couple of key positions" and stressed the importance of being "as strong as we can from the get-go for the league, and also in Europe."
