Derbyshire Police find man reported missing in Ilkeston

Police have found a man who was reported missing after he failed to return home from his job in Ilkeston.

Dominic Sisson, 21, left work in the town on Monday, May 18, but did not return to his home in West Hallam.

There was increased police presence around Kirk Hallam Lake while officers searched for the 21-year-old, Derbyshire Live reports.

And a police presence across the area led to the man being found.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Armed Policing Unit tweeted: "Early (daylight) hours today we assisted Erewash Response when they were searching and located a vulnerable missing person in Ilkeston.

"[We] also helped by EMAS and Derbyshire [Fire and Rescue Service]. A great example of emergency services working together."
