Derbyshire building services firm relocates to new headquarters

A Derbyshire building services firm which carries out work across the country has relocated its headquarters.

Salamanda Building Services Limited has moved from Langley Mill to modern detached office premises at Swanwick Court, near Alfreton.

The firm of plumbing heating and air conditioning engineers has customers nationwide - and decided to move as it needed more space and wanted to be nearer the M1 motorway.

The deal was completed by Derby agents David Brown Commercial on behalf of Morgan Industrial Properties.

Michael Green, a surveyor at David Brown Commercial who secured the deal, said: “We’re delighted to have agreed terms with Salamanda, which is upgrading to Swanwick Court from an industrial premises in Amber Valley.

“The modern business park is strategically located just off the A38 trunk road and therefore provides an unrivalled connections to the road networks including the M1 at Junction 28.”

According to Mr Green, there are units still available at Swanwick Court, ranging from 1,600 sq ft to 6,224 sq ft.

Andrew Pinnick, managing director of Salamanda Building Services, said: “We work nationwide so the location is ideal for us being on the A38 and so close to the motorway.

“We were able to agree terms with Michael quickly in a deal that works for both parties.”
