Two Derbyshire businesses have joined forces to bring together interior design and architectural services.
Derby-based Just Living Interiors has agreed to merge with Matthew Montague Architects, which has its offices at Longford, near Ashbourne.
Just Living Interiors was founded in 2014 by Kelly Barker, who specialises in high-end interior design.
An accredited member of The Society of British and International Design, she will head up the interior design service for all clients following the merger.
Matthew Montague Architects is an award-winning practice, which was founded more than 20 years ago.
The firm provides its services to businesses and homeowners– but in recent times has seen a growth in demand from the residential market.
The practice has completed a series of individual country homes around the region.
Its current projects include an ambitious country manor house in North Derbyshire, a substantial countryside home looking out over the Staffordshire Hills, a state-of-the-art eco-home and an extensive renovation of an Edwardian hall in a Derbyshire conservation area.
The merger with Just Living Interiors increases the portfolio of services offered by Matthew Montague Architects and gives clients the opportunity to integrate high-level interior design from the beginning of every project.
Kelly said “I am excited to be joining such an established and creative practice. They have a great portfolio.
“We are in discussions with several clients already and I can’t wait to get going.”
