Cardiff will have designs on the Play-Off places with victory in the Midlands, Derby are simply trying to kick-start their campaign under Philip Cocu after a stuttering opening.
Who will be successful?
We asked the man who knows Cardiff City inside out, Glen Williams , for his verdict.
Win, lose or draw?
Derby 1-1 Cardiff City. The Bluebirds will undoubtedly sit deep and try to keep a tight defence. But, in front of their home fans, I do expect the Rams to score. But Cardiff, especially away from home with long balls and set pieces, are just as likely to nick one. The draw is a solid 12/5 with thepools.com while the 1-1 correct score is an appealing 5/1 .
Who’s a good bet for first scorer?
Nathaniel Mendez-Laing. If he returns to full fitness he could be a real handful at Pride Park. He can use his blistering pace on the counter-attack, but also his physicality is useful in the set piece.
He's a big 15/2 to score first and 11/4 to score any time .

Who’s on the naughty step?
Joe Bennett. Two yellows for him so far this season and his tendency to attack down the flank has sometimes left him scrambling back in defence. Could be one to look out for.
Who’s on pens?
Likely to be Joe Ralls. So 1 4/1 first or last scorer and 9/2 any time are both good prices.
Will Cardiff keep a clean sheet?
No, even though the defence has improved in the last few games, I still fancy the Rams to score. Both Teams To Score is 8/13 .
