Derby County striker relishes 'big game' against Nottingham Forest

Derby County striker Jack Marriott is relishing facing Nottingham Forest.

The two clubs will go head-to-head in the second round of the Carabao Cup at the City Ground on Tuesday night (7:45pm).

And Marriott, who was linked with the Reds before joining the Rams from Peterborough United in July last year, says Phillip Cocu's side are revved up to face their arch-rivals in a big East Midlands Derby clash.

“It’s a big game,” he told RamsTV.

“We all look forward to it and everyone in the city will look forward to it."

Marriott played in the last City Ground match between the two clubs in February, Forest triumphing 1-0 thanks to a goal from Yohan Benalouane.

And he is hoping for a different outcome this time around.

"Hopefully it will be a good game for us," he added.
