Derby County boss Phillip Cocu speaks out on Nottingham Forest drama

Derby County boss Phillip Cocu says he was frustrated at seeing Kamil Jozwiak's goal ruled out for offside against Nottingham Forest which deprived the Rams of victory at the City Ground.

The Polish winger looked to have snatched all three points when he struck late on only for the goal to be disallowed because Martyn Waghorn was stood in an offside position.

And speaking after the game, the Dutchman could not hide his disappointment.

"We played an excellent first half, great goal, and if we had scored the second goal then maybe the game would be over," said Cocu afterwards.

"Second half, of course, they (Forest) had to take more risks, and they did it.

"The one thing I am a little bit frustrated by is our second and Forest's goal, they were similar but one is a goal and the other one is not a goal.

"I don't even like to talk about it, I cannot change it but I hope people can understand it is getting quite a big frustration the decisions from the referees.

"It is small detail, but they are crucial in the game especially now for us because we are working really hard to get results to get up the table."
