A Derby communications firm has celebrated its first anniversary by moving to new offices and growing its team.
Honest Communications, which was founded by Holly Daulby last November, has relocated to the Derwent Business Centre after achieving “substantial growth” in its first year.
A succession of new clients has also led the agency to take on another account manager in the form of Rosie Ferrer.
In its first year Honest Communications has supported a whole host of leading industry names.
A highlight was when the agency was appointed by David Austin Roses to help support the PR activity at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, starting with behind-the-scenes filming with the BBC and Mary Berry, culminating in managing press and celebrity attendance at the company’s stand at the world-famous show.
As well as supporting national consumer brands, Honest Communications has also been helping local businesses with their PR and social media, as well as completing copywriting projects.
The agency is celebrating two new recent client wins. It has been appointed to handle the PR for Hillier, which holds the world-record for the most consecutive gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show, as well as looking after the UK publicity for the Elho, a Dutch plant pot company.
Holly said: “It’s been an incredible year - very busy but very rewarding. Continuing to support clients and to offer something different is paramount.
“Alongside that, I’m committed to always looking to the future and growing the business. Rosie joining the agency and moving into the new offices are key to this. I can’t wait for the next chapter.”
