Derby and QPR lead the transfer chase for Tottenham's Jack Clarke

Derby and QPR are leading the chase for Tottenham’s highly-rated winger Jack Clarke.

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho want to send Clarke back out on loan again after recalling him from Leed s, where he made just one league appearance.

This has sparked a scramble for Clarke’s signature and he is wanted by a host of Championship clubs.

Derby, QPR and Millwall have all made their interest known and Spurs and Clarke are deciding which club is the best option.

Clarke, 19, was gutted that his return to Leeds fell flat this season following his £10million summer move to Spurs.

He made 24 appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in his breakthrough campaign to earn his move to Tottenham.

But Bielsa gave him just 19 minutes of league action this season and his only two starts for Leeds came in the EFL Cup.

The teenager and Leeds fan was desperately disappointed he did not figure more and was keen to help them win promotion this season.

His unhappy return to Elland Road has not dimmed his love for the Whites and he attended Monday’s FA Cup defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates to support his old side.

Clarke is anxious for his second loan move this season to be a success and re-ignite his stalled career.
