Deputies search for Irvine woman after car found covered in snow

Jan. 05--Authorities are looking for a woman missing since last week and whose vehicle was found covered in snow in San Bernardino County.

Lisa Ann Cimbaluk, 35, was reported missing Dec. 30 by her family, who last saw her the day before at her home in Irvine, according to the Irvine Police Department.

Soon after, Irvine police began searching for Cimbaluk's vehicle and entered her into a missing persons database.

Then on Sunday morning, deputies with the San Bernardino sheriff's station in Big Bear found her vehicle covered in snow. The vehicle was at Woodland Trailhead in Fawnskin.

Irvine police said there were no signs of foul play.

Deputies and volunteers have been searching for Cimbaluk. Authorities are concerned because of the low overnight temperatures in the area, said Jodi Miller, spokeswoman of the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department.

The search of Cimbaluk will continue into the evening, she said. Although Monday was mostly sunny and warm with highs in the 50s, temperatures were expected to dip into the 20s overnight, Miller said.

Cimbaluk is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 150 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Sheriff's Department at (909) 866-0100 or Irvine police at (949) 724-7200.
