A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a woman was found in south east London.
Police were called to a flat in McMillan Street, Deptford, shortly after 10am on Monday following concern for the welfare of an occupant.
The body of Zoe Orton, aged 46, was found at the address. Next of kin have been informed.
A post mortem examination took place on Tuesday. The cause of death was given as neck compression.
The Met said homicide detectives are leading the investigation. There have been no arrests.
