Deontay Wilder has hit back at his sacked trainer Mark Breland who claimed the former heavyweight world champion's career was "finished".
Wilder has not fought since he suffered his first professional defeat when he was stopped by Tyson Fury 12 months ago.
He has since embarked on a bizarre conspiracy campaign in a bid to absolve himself of blame for the loss, including claiming Breland spiked his water.
Breland, who was fired for throwing in the towel in the seventh round, broke his silence last week to criticise Wilder as a one-dimensional fighter who barely trained.
But the former champion has responded, telling American radio: "It's like, where is it all coming from? Is it because of where I am in life and your career was short?
"It's all making sense now. He's been envying me, he's been jealous. Now all this s*** is truly coming out.
"You can't break a king. When you're a king, you're a king. A king knows how to get back up and continue to lead because he understands that he has people waiting on you to, 'Get up king and continue to lead us.' That's what it is, I'm a king.
"You want to break your silence to the UK media [and say] 'Somebody else poured the water.' Nah, you did that s***. This is the end of my career? Man, this is only the beginning of greatness. But for you, it is the end."
Wilder, who had drawn with Fury in 2018 to controversially retain his title, triggered his rematch clause following his defeat last year.
But the coronavirus crisis pushed the trilogy fight back first from July to October and then to December before Fury decided to walk away.
The Brit has instead focused on an undisputed world title fight with fellow countryman Anthony Joshua with a deal set to be struck in the next two weeks.
The fight, set to be worth £100million to each champion, will likely take place in Saudi Arabia in June.
