Deontay Wilder explains who is to blame for Anthony Joshua fight not happening

Deontay Wilder insists Anthony Joshua's promoters are to blame for the failed negotiations between the heavyweight world champions.

Wilder will not take on his fellow ruler before late 2020 after striking deals for rematches with Luis Ortiz and Tyson Fury .

And he has put responsibility for the breakdown in talks firmly at the door of Eddie Hearn's Matchroom outfit.

“Without [Matchroom], this fight would be done a long time ago. He can say all he wants. They still have a say-so on him. So why sit and talk with him? He’s not on my level," Wilder told the LA Times .

“You know when it’s real and you know when someone’s just talking. We've spoke before for four months. I've been in there with them. You don’t think you know a person when they’re lying or not?

"I'm not chasing nobody no more. The shoe’s on the other foot. I know the fight’s going to happen eventually, but it’s good to see them begging."

Wilder announced a second fight with Ortiz earlier this week with the clash expected to take place in September or October.

He then revealed on Friday that he has signed a contract to take on Fury for a second time early next year.

The pair fought to a controversial draw last December in Los Angeles when Fury twice rose from the canvas to hear the final bell, only to be denied victory by the ringside judges.

All contracts have been signed already; it's officially on," Wilder posted on social media.

"As I always say I'm the realest champion in the business and as I've mentioned before I must handle all my controversial fights ASAP.

"By no means am I looking past Ortiz. He's a dangerous fighter but I am looking through him."

British star Fury faces Germany's Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas on June 15.
