Denzel Dumfries, Allan Saint-Maximin and three more players Everton are 'tipped to sign'

With Rafael Benitez settling into the Goodison hot seat, he will no doubt have plans in his mind on bolstering his squad if the Blues are to improve on their mid-table finish last season.

Seamus Coleman was praised by the new manager in his first press conference but a potential right-back successor continues to be linked with a move to Merseyside with Max Aarons and Denzel Dumfries linked.

The Premier League is now just under a month away as the Blues kick off their campaign against Southampton, but who are the bookies tipping to be an Everton player come the closing of the transfer window?

SkyBet has the latest transfer odds - accurate at the time of writing - and it makes for interesting reading.

It's important, however, to take most of it with a pinch of salt. The players listed below are the names who Everton are apparently 'most likely' to sign this summer…

Denzel Dumfries 8/11

The Blues are favourites to sign the PSV full-back after his starring role in Holland's Euro 2020 despite being dumped out in the Round of 16 by the Czech Republic.

Technical Director John de Jong recently insisted there have yet to be any concrete offers for the 25-year-old.

He said: "They know what we want, and we have given these players the space to start talking to interested clubs. If they have an agreement, then the club in question will report to us.

"At the moment, we haven’t received a single concrete offer.

"But that can, of course, change very quickly. If they have not yet come to an agreement, then Donyell [Malen] and Denzel will report to us again on 18 July. But the chance that they both go is, of course, very high."

Allan Saint-Maximin 1/1

The Newcastle star has been linked with a move to Everton that would see the Spanish manager raid his former club.

Other reports suggest a move for the Frenchman could be sparked by Real Madrid's reported interest in Richarlison, with some claims even going so far as to say Carlo Ancelotti has been in touch with the forward.

The Mirror reported that the Blues may be forced to pay £50m for the 24-year-old - while SkyBet have Everton as favourites to sign him at evens.

Kalidou Koulibaly 4/1

Reports in Italy today suggested that the Blues had tabled a £35m bid for the Napoli defender as they looked to strengthen in their defensive ranks.

There has been no confirmation that any progress has been made on that front, but the Senegal international has previously worked under Benitez during his time at Naples.

Everton are said to be 'favourites' to sign him according to the odds from SkyBet with Manchester United and Bayern Munich both trailing behind priced at 6/1 and 8/1 respectively.

Pedro Neto 6/1

Tottenham are currently tipped as 'favourites' to sign Pedro Neto as Nuno Espirito Santo eyes a reunion with the Portuguese forward.

The 21-year-old is currently sidelined till October as he recovers from a fractured patella (kneecap) which prematurely ended his season with Wolves.

Everton are rumoured to be admirers of the attacker but with Espirito Santo choosing North London over Merseyside, the pendulum may have swung in Spurs' favour.

Max Aarons 8/1

Recent reports stated that the Norwich full-back was one of Everton's priorities this summer.

90min said that the 21-year-old was a primary target for the Blues, alongside Dumfries, with last season's Championship-winning defender priced in the region of £25m.

Spurs and Manchester United are in the driving seat in the race for his signature, if SkyBet's odds are anything to go by with Everton fourth favourite at 8/1.
