Denver Nuggets shooting guard Malik Beasley and his teammates will likely have a big laugh over this play from Monday’s Game 1 against the Portland Trail Blazers when they go back and watch the film, because man was it funny,
The shooting guard was running down the floor on a fast break when he tried to pop out to the 3-point line right as teammate Jamal Murray was throwing him a pass.
But instead of getting to the 3-point line, Beasley tripped over his own feet and went rolling out of bounds as the ball sailed into the first row.
The announcers mentioned how he lost some “cool points” on this one:
