Denver Nuggets guard Malik Beasley signs with Klutch Sports

With less than 30 days to go until the NBA season begins on October 22, teams across the league are already getting together for voluntary pick-up runs and in the case of the Los Angeles Lakers, a group jaunt out of town to get to know each other a little better in addition to playing on the court. But the last month of the offseason is also a big time in the league for players entering the fourth year of their rookie contracts.

And one player who is eligible to negotiate a new extension has decided to switch his representation to Klutch Sports in order to get top dollar: Denver Nuggets guard Malik Beasley, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. The Denver Post’s Mike Singer reported this weekend that the Nuggets were eager to sign Beasley to an extension.

While the perception of Paul as a ruthless negotiator has some believing that a deal for Beasley won’t get done before the Oct. 21 deadline to sign an extension, he has done a good job of negotiating extensions lately for other clients such as Golden State’s Draymond Green and Milwaukee’s Eric Bledsoe.

Although Beasley recently joined Klutch, he’s always been a fan of LeBron James’ signature shoes, as he has played for the last few seasons in the LeBron 15s, which even got a shout out from The King during the 2019 NBA Playoffs.
