The NFL will soon announce the regular season schedule for 2019, giving fans a chance to make their game day plans for the upcoming season. We already know who the Denver Broncos will face next season, we just don’t know when.
From that list of opponents, we can predict which games might get national attention on primetime television. Because of a lack of success in recent years, the Broncos likely aren’t high on the list of teams the league is looking to put in the national spotlight, but the Broncos have historically played in multiple primetime games each season.
Here are some games that could be confirmed for a Thursday, Sunday or Monday night when the schedule is released.
1. Cleveland Browns

The Broncos and Cleveland Browns squared off on national TV last season in a game that was played on a Saturday night. The Broncos were officially eliminated from postseason contention following that defeat.
The game between these teams will be played in Denver once again, so why not put it in primetime for the second straight year?
The Browns are an exciting young team featuring players such as Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr. and Myles Garrett, and the league will likely give plenty of exposure to them this coming season.
2. Kansas City Chiefs

Whether it be the game in Denver or Arrowhead Stadium, it could be shown in primetime. These two teams seem to play in a primetime game nearly every season and it’s a game that almost always delivers.
As bad as the Broncos were last season and as good as the Chiefs were, the Broncos should have beaten the Chiefs in their game on Monday Night Football in Week 4.
3. Green Bay Packers

This game will be played at Lambeau Field and it could be a great setting for Sunday or Monday night.
The Broncos and Packers don’t play each other very often, but two of their last three meetings have taken place on national television in primetime.
The last time the two sides met was on a Sunday night and it ended up being one of the worst games of Aaron Rodgers’ career. He completed 14 of 22 passes for just 77 yards while being sacked three times. One of those resulted in a safety late in the fourth quarter as the Broncos rolled to a 29-10 victory.
Expect to see the full schedule released within the next 10 days.
