Residents in Dennistoun have tried to spread some cheer amid the gloom of coronavirus and 2020 with cute signs displayed in the windows of their tenements.
XG Taylor shared a snap of the scene across her east end street in the Dennistoun Information community Facebook page, generating dozens of positive responses from her neighbours.
The picture shows a sign in the opposing tenement which reads: "you look nice today", with the reply in the foreground window displaying: "thank you, you look nice too".
XG Taylor told Glasgow Live the couple who created the initial sign 'had made everyone's day and put a lot of smiles on our faces too'.
Fellow members of the community Facebook page commented: "Aww this is adorable" and "that's pretty cool".
