A man has been rushed to hospital with a head injury after being attacked in Dennistoun.
Police were called to the scene on Bellfield Street after reports of an assault at around 4.45pm this afternoon.
Officers have now launched an investigation following the shock incident.
The condition of the 48-year-old man taken to hospital is unknown at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 4.45pm on Friday, 21 May, to a report of an assault in the Bellfield Street area of Glasgow.
"A 48-year-old man sustained a head injury and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
