Several people were wounded in a shooting in the Danish town of Holbaek on Sunday, with police saying the incident was suspected to be linked to a dispute between criminal groups.

Police received a report of the shooting at around 3:45 pm local time (1345 GMT) and said officers were deployed at several locations in Holbaek, about 70 km (45 miles) west of Copenhagen, reported AFP.
“A shooting in which multiple people have been hit” was reported, police said in a statement. They did not immediately provide details about the victims' conditions.
“The police presumption is that this is a settling of scores within the criminal milieu,” authorities said.
Preliminary information indicated that the suspected perpetrators fled the scene in a white car, police said. Authorities urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
