Denise Welch broke down in tears over Charlene White's emotive inauguration message on Loose Women.
Charlene, 40, told the panel she was overwhelmed with emotion when Kamala Harris spoke at the inauguration where Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States.
During Friday's episode, the emotional star said Kamala cannot be ignored, like women have been in the past, because she is in the "powerful" role of Vice President.
In response, Denise broke down in tears as she admitted she was "moved" by her co-star's passionate words about hope for the future.
She said: "Listening to you Charlene, when we are so deprived from hope at the moment, from a general point of view, to have hope at the moment is wonderful.
"My son Matthew's girlfriend is a woman of colour and I think it's very moving to hear you speak."
Denise spoke fondly of her son Matthew Healy's girlfriend FKA Twigs.
Matthew and FKA Twigs have been going steady since they went Instagram official with their romance almost a year ago in February.
Emotional Denise wiped the tears flowing freely from her eyes.
Conversation turned back to Charlene as the Loose Women panel held the discussion.
Charlene expressed her hopes for the future as she celebrated the "extraordinary" moment in history.
She said: "It's a powerful moment for women but as you say Denise for women of colour. It really is just extraordinary.
"It does give us hope for the future."
