Denise Welch encourages Piers Morgan to self-isolate in America in savage tweet

Denise Welch has made a savage coronavirus-related suggestion to Piers Morgan, once again proving there is no love lost between the pair.

As COVID-19 continues to spread across the world, with Italy and Spain on lockdown, and confirmed coronavirus cases in the UK now over 1,000, with deaths from the viral pandemic now at 21, Denise took to Twitter to give Piers some advice.

She tweeted: "Why doesn’t health expert & harbinger of doom Piers Morgan catch the last flight to LA & self isolate in his mansion for 2 yrs."

Geordie actress Denise and journalist turned Goos Morning Britain host Piers have had countless clashes over the years over everything from Donald Trump to mental health.

Last year they were embroiled in a heated social media spat over Piers' comments on the latter when he told a GMB guest and mental health campaigner: "I think we need to teach mental strength and we need to teach kids to toughen up a bit ... life is actually about the real world."

Quoting a clip of the show, Denise , who has been open and frank about her own battles with depression, took to Twitter to rant: "I am totally and utterly appalled that Piers Morgan actually said this on live television!! Toughen up??? How f.....g dare he."

He responded: "Hi Denise, I think professional ‘victims’ like you are now part of the problem not the solution.

"I want our children to be taught mental strength & resilience at school, to better acquit them for life than listening to celebrities constantly whining about their myriad woes."

On Saturday, Denise, who was recently on home turf to perform in Sunday for Sammy, hit back at claims she is a 'coronavirus denier', after some critics had taken exception with some of her posts and videos about the pandemic.
