Denise Welch causes panic by 'going missing' live on Loose Women

Denise Welch left her Loose Women colleagues slightly concerned on Tuesday when she went 'missing' live on air.

Loose Women has been fully back on air for a number of weeks now after over production was halted on the ITV daytime show for over a month due to the coronavirus pandemic, with repeats airing in its usual time slot.

The programme has been adhering to Government rules on social distancing and mass gatherings by imposing some restrictions since filming recommenced and that meant, while host Andrea McLean and fellow panellists Jane Moore and Brenda Edwards were in the studio, Geordie actress Denise appeared from the kitchen of her Cheshire home.

And all was going well until Loose Women returned from its second ad break and the former Coronation Street and Waterloo Road star was nowhere to be seen.

A puzzled Andrea remarked: "We seem to be missing one someone...Denise?"

Denise could then be seen scurrying into shot clutching a cup of coffee. Sitting down, she joked: "Listen I've given everything up in me life, I'm not giving up me coffee!"

One viewer reacted: "Oh god love her."
