Denise Van Outen shares sneak peek of Neighbours' set as she films scenes in Australia

Denise Van Outen has filmed her first scenes on the official Neighbours set in Australia.

It was revealed by Aussie soap bosses that Denise, 45, would be .

The actress and presenter has already filmed some scenes in London alongside Neighbours favourites Stefan Dennis and Rebekah Elmaloglou, who play Paul Robinson and Terese Willis.

Now she's gone down under to meet some of the cast of the soap, sharing a sneak peek behind the scenes with her new co-stars Jemma Donovan and Zima Anderson who play Harlow Robinson and Roxy Willis.

Denise posted a selfie of her alongside the two young actresses on the Neighbours set.

The TV personality also filmed her co-star Zima entering one of the show's homes, giggling as he struggled to open the door before they then explored inside.

In between filming Denise made sure to keep on top of her workouts, as she posted a snap of herself in the gym.

Denise has been cast as the mother of newcomer Harlow, who is played by actress Jemma, the daughter of Neighbours legend Jason Donovan.

Paul Robinson will come face-to-face with Prue in London, in scenes that will pave the way for one of the soap’s biggest storylines later this year.

Back in June alongside Good Morning Britain star Richard Arnold who was cast to play her pal Graham.

He makes his own Australian soap debut in the role, joining the cast for the scenes in the UK.

Previously speaking of the chance to star in the hit soap, Denise said: "I am thrilled to be joining the cast of one the world’s most iconic shows, Neighbours.

“To be asked is a privilege and I am very excited to get to work on a really fun storyline first in London and then heading over to Melbourne."

She added: “I can't say too much just yet but my character Prue is heading to Ramsay Street to stir things up and I can't wait!”

Neighbours airs on Channel 5 weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm
